移民難民の背景を持つ女性に、平等な高等教育を与えるための奨学金プログラムを提供しています。
多文化、多言語という背景から、彼女たちは今後の日本社会において重要な役割を担うと確信しています。
特に卒業後の経済的自立に重点を置き、就職に直結する専門性の高い学部・学科への進学者を対象に、
入学金・学費・生活費を含む返済義務なしの給付型奨学金を提供しています。
加えて、学生生活及び就職のサポートを行う伴走支援も提供しています。

The JWLI Scholarship was created in 2021 with a vision to provide women immigrants and refugees in Japan with equal opportunity for higher education. The program is built upon the belief that a college degree will lead to a safe, productive life. These women will play a key role in shaping the future of Japan with their multi-cultural/lingual talents. This scholarship offers tuition, living stipend as well as non-financial support. What makes this program unique is culturally sensitive, confidential support that will help nurture the best, safest learning experience, and prepare for a career. Scholars will receive mentorship, academic support, Japanese language assistance, career training, and an opportunity to join the lifelong JWLI community.
