• 5+ years of professional leadership experience in the social sector preferred
• Clear and impactful vision for creating social change in Japan
• Action-oriented mindset
• Strong interest in U.S. social sector leadership and management to foster a global perspective.
• Based in Japan and deeply rooted in the local community
• Business-level English proficiency
• Commitment to empowering women in Japan as a role model and actively engaging with the JWLI alumni network

Step 1: Email Submission:
Send the following documents in PDF Format via email to jwliteam@fishfamilyfoundation.org:

• Essay in English (maximum 600 words, maximum two pages, include your name and submission date at the top right on all pages) addressing the questions below. Applicants must address the questions below. Question 2 is asking applicants' ideas for Action Plans and that is what the selection committee is most interested in learning about.
  1. Question 1: Why are you applying to JWLI Boston? And what do you want to learn from JWLI Boston? (Max 200 words)
  2. Question 2: What is the social issue you want to tackle? How would you like to tackle the social issue? Explain your plan and the change you want to bring as specific as possible. (Max 400 words)
• Resume in English (Maximum one page, including a recent headshot) Sample
• Letter of recommendation in English (One page, preferably from a person at executive/management level)
