自身の育児経験から、子連れでの外出を助け、産後の孤立を防ぐための「着られる授乳室」としての「授乳服」を開発。産後の女性の可能性の発信のため、イベント、講演のほか、表参道の路面店で子連れ出勤を行うなどのソーシャルアクションを行い、内閣府女性のチャレンジ賞等受賞歴多数。2014年、2016年、「APEC女性と経済フォーラム」に日本代表として参加。現在は大学院で子連れ出勤の社会的意義に関する研究を行う。東京大学大学院情報学環客員研究員、筑波大学大学院非常勤講師。

Yuka, based on her own challenging experience, developed nursing clothes as a wearable nursing room to help women after birth and prevent social isolation. She challenges gender-based social assumptions, advocates for nursing clothes, and promotes a more inclusive workplace where employees can bring their babies to work. In 2014 and 2016, she represented Japan at the APEC Women and the Economy Forum. She currently conducts research about Baby@Work. She is a visiting researcher at the University of Tokyo Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, and a part-time lecturer at the University of Tsukuba.
