障がいのある兄弟姉妹がいる子どものきょうだいのサポートを目的とした「うぇるしぶ」を2020年に設立。小・中学校や特別支援学校、病院、行政などの機関と連携をしながら、きょうだいたちに必要な情報が届くための仕組みづくりに取り組む。団体名のうぇるしぶは「Welcome Siblings」を意味している。2023年「キッズデザイン賞 審査員長特別賞」を受賞。筑波大学大学院 障害科学専攻 修士課程。

Asami founded Welsib – meaning welcome siblings – in 2020 to support siblings of those with disabilities by providing the siblings and their families with information, resources, and a network. Working together with elementary and junior high schools, special needs schools, hospitals, government agencies, Welsib creates a system that ensures support and access to information for the siblings. Received "Kids Design Award Jury's Special Prize" in 2023. Master's degree in Disability Science, University of Tsukuba.
